Choi Min Sik and Han So Hee are formally collaborating on the Korean adaptation of the Hollywood movie “The Intern. Both stars will appear in the next movie, which is presently in pre-production and is scheduled to start shooting next month, according to a confirmation posted on the Korean Film Council’s official website on August 1.

The revelation was also verified by Han So Hee’s agency, 9ato Entertainment, who said, “Han So Hee will star in the upcoming Korean remake of ‘The Intern. The 2015 Hollywood film, which stars Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro, chronicles the odd but endearing connection that develops when a 70-year-old intern with a wealth of professional and personal experience is hired by a successful young CEO in her 30s.

Anne Hathaway, a successful CEO of an online fashion startup who created her business in just a year and a half, will be portrayed by Han So Hee in the Korean version. Choi Min Sik will play the seasoned senior intern, who was first played by Robert De Niro and whose composed demeanor and life lessons have a profound effect on everyone in his vicinity.

In contrast, Han So Hee will portray Jules, Anne Hathaway’s opposite in the Korean adaptation. In just 18 months, this accomplished CEO in her 30s has expanded her business to 220 workers. Jules is a strong leader who finds it difficult to manage her hectic work and family life.
